Groupe Orchidées, an association established in 1993, operates five nursing homes (EHPADs) and two senior living residences in the Lille metropolitan area. Following several years of crisis in the healthcare and social care sector, the Group has faced difficulties that have weakened its financial position.
Following discussions initiated by the Les Millésimes association with creditors and the landlord, the Lille Judicial Court (Tribunal judiciaire de Lille) issued, on 16 October 2026, a judgment approving the conciliation agreement structured for the benefit of Groupe Orchidées. This amicable insolvency proceedings mechanism aims to formalise agreements reached with creditors and the landlord as part of a broader restructuring process.
In connection with this transaction, DELSOL Avocats advised the Les Millésimes association throughout the conciliation proceedings and the court approval process, drawing on a multidisciplinary team combining expertise in non-profit organisations, social entrepreneurship and corporate restructuring.
The team comprised:
- Alexis Becquart, Partner, Bruna Bardawil, Counsel, and Léa Berche, Associate, from the Non-Profit Organisations – Social Entrepreneurship department; and
- Manuel Wingert, Partner, from the Distressed Companies – Restructuring department.
