Our CSR Policy reflects the firm’s founding values (dignity, ethical awareness, independence, integrity and humanity) and our constant ambition to ensure that DELSOL Avocats is a responsible and sustainable law firm.
To minimize document printing as much as possible, we provide our deliverables in digital format unless the client requests otherwise. To facilitate this shift to digital, we have implemented a digital document management system using a collaborative data-sharing tool.
The data centers where our data is stored are located in France.
We use an internal instant messaging service to reduce unnecessary email traffic.
We regularly maintain our IT equipment to improve its durability. When we replace equipment, we prioritize refurbished solutions.
We educate our teams on simple actions:
We minimize the waste generated by our operations as much as possible. When waste is produced, we ensure it is recycled or reused.
We use reusable containers for water and coffee. Each floor has a water cooler to serve drinks, avoiding single-use containers. We have also introduced the use of carafes and glasses in all our meeting rooms.
When our business requires ordering meal trays—particularly for seminars or meetings—we order them from caterers who use reusable containers and collect them after use to reuse them.
We recycle:
We repurpose furniture that is no longer useful or functional in our offices by donating it to Valdelia (an eco-organization), giving it a second life.
If, due to our growth, we replace damaged furniture or purchase new furniture, we commit to paying attention to certifications to reduce the environmental impact of such purchases.
Thus, in 2022, 64% of the furniture we purchased carried at least one label certifying the product’s eco-responsibility.
We pay particular attention to the cleaning products used in our facilities, for the health of those who use them, as well as for our teams and the environment. Consequently, we prioritize natural products.
For the gas contracts at our two sites, we have signed agreements with a green energy option that guarantees that the equivalent of 10% of the gas we consume is purchased by the supplier from renewable sources via a biomethane production facility.
We are mindful of our energy consumption; we have installed thermostats on every floor to regulate the room temperature; we encourage our teams to reduce the standby time of electronic devices.
We recognize the importance of encouraging our teams to use sustainable modes of transportation. We have therefore equipped the two outdoor courtyards at our sites (Paris and Lyon) with bicycle parking, so that our teams can park their bicycles safely.
For longer-distance travel, we encourage our teams to choose the train over the car to help reduce our carbon footprint.
Our recruitment policy is based exclusively on skills, personal qualities, and performance. Through these criteria, we prohibit any form of discrimination in our hiring practices.
DELSOL Avocats is committed to welcoming people with disabilities, particularly during our training sessions. Our disability liaison officer ensures that the specific needs of trainees regarding physical or educational accessibility are addressed.
We strive to provide the best working conditions for our employees. Committed to fostering positive professional relationships, we have created relaxation and dining areas where baskets of fresh fruit are provided. We also offer employees access to a concierge service at affordable rates (eco-friendly dry cleaning, alterations, and shoe repair) and the opportunity to participate in sports classes at a reduced cost. We are always attentive to their needs.
We are particularly committed to supporting students. Each year, DELSOL Avocats mentors an average of more than 70 interns; we are dedicated to their training to ensure their internship is a genuine professional experience.
Several former interns have chosen to join the firm as associates upon completing their internship. The firm also partners with numerous universities and regularly welcomes law students to the office to discuss the legal profession.
DELSOL Avocats supports the nonprofit sector through philanthropic initiatives via its endowment fund, which the firm established in 2009.
Each year, following a competition organized by the endowment fund, we award grants to innovators behind philanthropic projects. Over 16 years, over €400,000 in grants has been awarded to 65 recipients.
We are pleased to support organizations by enabling them to bring meaningful and humanitarian projects to life.
In 2025, the jury of the DELSOL Endowment Fund awarded €40,000 in grants to the following three winners:
To carry out the intergenerational project “Chaque Histoire Compte Vraiment,” which invites high school students to write the life story of a nursing home resident, to promote the sharing of life stories connected to history, and to encourage regular interaction between generations. A project that also helps combat isolation among the elderly and fosters a sense of commitment among young people.
Funding a specific program for 50 young girls (scholarships, uniforms, school supplies, safety) at the Sisophon center, located in northwestern Cambodia. The center was founded in 1993 amid a context of insecurity and population displacement. It quickly became a haven for the most vulnerable children: orphans, war victims, or those from poor families, left to fend for themselves and deprived of schooling.
Making school libraries more inclusive by offering innovative spaces where every child can access books adapted to their needs: Braille, French Sign Language (LSF), pictograms, Easy-to-Read and Easy-to-Understand materials, fonts for dyslexia and other learning differences, etc.
