DELSOL Avocats advised higher education group EDH on its acquisition of CREAD Institut, a school of higher education in interior design.
The acquisition adds a new chapter to the catalogue of courses offered by EDH, a higher education group with a 60-year history of leadership in the fields of communication, artistic and cultural management, journalism, graphic design and digital creation.
The deal was financed by means of a unitranche credit facility made available by the lenders (CIC Private Debt and Idinvest Partners).
DELSOL Avocats has advised EDH over a number of years (acquisition of the BRASSART and ARIES group’s, EDH’s tertiary LBO, etc.). The team assigned to this latest deal was made up of:
- Henri-Louis DELSOL, partner and co-head of the Corporate Law – Mergers & Acquisitions department, and associates Vincent GUEVENOUX and Alexia DEMONCHY, on the corporate aspects;
- Julien MONSENEGO, partner and co-head of the Tax Law department, and associate Clément GUITET, on the tax aspects;
- Benoît BOUSSIER, partner and co-head of the Real Estate Law department, and legal advisor Sarah FERRAD , on the real estate law aspects;
- Delphine BRETAGNOLLE, partner and co-head of the Employment Law – Social Welfare Law department, and associate Jessica NEUFVILLE, on the social law aspects.
