DELSOL Avocats advised the GUEYDON family with the acquisition of a majority stake in their company.
The GUEYDON family, founders of the toy retailer King Jouet, have returned as majority shareholders after selling control of the company in 2011 to the Italian retailer Toys Center, which has since then been acquired by the Italian group PRG Retail Groupe. The GUEYDON family now holds 70% of the company’s capital, with PRG remaining a minority shareholder alongside three investment companies which have acquired a stake.
With a turnover amounting to more than 400 million euros in 2023, King Jouet has 380 stores in France, Benelux, Switzerland and Morocco and employs more than 2 000 people.
