DELSOL Avocats, a multidisciplinary business law firm that assists clients in France and internationally with all their legal needs, continues to expand its “Real Estate – Construction” team with the arrival of Raphaël BERGER and Stéphanie BERGER-BECHE, as partner and counsel respectively, accompanied by a team of eight: Joana JOUNI, Axel TAP, Mégane PEUPLE, Clémence CHAIBAINOU, Mélissa MEZIZENE, Ouriel GABISON, Noémie DUBOUIS, and Catherine ANGLARET.
For more than 50 years, DELSOL Avocats has been helping its clients every day with the complex challenges of business law in Paris, Lyon, and Brussels. This move is fully in line with the firm’s growth strategy and strengthens a 21-member team recognized in the field of real estate and construction law. The team now includes 5 partners—Raphaël BERGER, Benoit BOUSSIER, Hélène LABORDE, Nathalie PEYRON, and Adrien WILLIOT—as well as 18 other lawyers (two counsel and 16 associates). The department advises at every stage of a project, from structuring or acquisition, through construction or redevelopment and the set-up of lease management, to sale.
Raphaël BERGER and Stéphanie BERGER-BECHE advise industry stakeholders on a wide range of real estate issues, including condominium law, property management, construction law, leases, urban planning, real estate sales, complex real estate developments, and real estate litigation. Their arrival enables DELSOL Avocats to round out its real estate and construction law offering, notably by adding recognized expertise in condominium law. The new team will be based in Lyon and Paris, offering the firm’s clients close, on-the-ground support on these matters.
“We are very pleased to welcome Raphaël BERGER and Stéphanie BERGER-BECHE to DELSOL Avocats. Their leading expertise in real estate law (construction, condominium law, and leases) is a major asset for our ‘Real Estate – Construction’ department. Their arrival strengthens our ability to support all real estate stakeholders on increasingly technical and complex issues, while consolidating our growth and our ambition to offer our clients the highest level of expertise nationwide,” said Henri-Louis DELSOL and Emmanuel KAEPPELIN, Managing Partners of DELSOL Avocats.
“We chose to join DELSOL Avocats to continue developing our practice within a firm that shares our commitment to quality and our vision for supporting real estate stakeholders. The complementary nature of our expertise will enable us to provide our clients with solutions that are increasingly tailored to their challenges,” said Raphaël BERGER, partner at DELSOL Avocats.
Raphaël BERGER joins DELSOL Avocats as a partner and co-head of the “Real Estate – Construction” department. A lawyer since 1999 and admitted to the Paris Bar in 2022, he devotes most of his practice to real estate law, in both advisory and litigation matters.
He became a partner at a leading Lyon law firm as early as 2002 and has held the real estate law specialization awarded by the French National Bar Council (Conseil national des barreaux) since 2006. He has developed a recognized practice covering the full range of issues in real estate law, construction, leases, condominium law, urban planning, and associated risks. He works with all stakeholders in the sector: developers, builders, property managers, investors, and private individuals.
Stéphanie BERGER-BECHE joins DELSOL Avocats as counsel in the “Real Estate – Construction” department. A lawyer since 2004, she has developed a recognized practice in real estate law and family law.
She advises all real estate stakeholders on issues relating to real estate sales, property law, and easements.
In addition to her advisory and litigation work, she is also a mediator and has been a member of the Lyon Bar Council since 2020.
In 2012, Raphaël BERGER and Stéphanie BERGER-BECHE founded their own specialized law firm, made up of around ten lawyers and staff, and then, in 2020, BERGER AVOCATS & ASSOCIÉS, a firm registered with both the Paris and Lyon Bars, with offices in both cities.
